THE MATRIX WAY
Here at Matrix we believe in Training and Education, not Instruction. The point being, unlike instruction, which is essentially unidirectional and provides no guarantee of learning that which is ostensibly being “taught,” education when effective, is bi-directional. From the educator’s perspective it is teaching, from the student’s perspective it is learning. It is therefore that our courses are provocative, allow for plenty of discussion time, and employ a large social element. Presentations might be given on a napkin, opinions and ideas are welcome, and debriefs happen outside the class room in a relaxed and informal environment.

We are a team comprised of a Instructors and Instructor Trainers, supported by a wicked bunch of technnical divemasters. All utterly dedicated to going the extra mile and with a real passion for training.

Diver training with us is education rather than instruction. We focus on a more advanced approach to tuition, whether it be Rec, Tec, CCR or Instructor level courses. Courses are bespoke, intense, but above all fun!

Diving Matrix operates globally, however, we are often found plotting and scheming at the Poole HQ in the United Kingdom. Training is completed around the Malta, UK, Egypt, South Africa and Tenerife to name a few.
