PADI TEC 100 CCR COURSE

The PADI Tec 100 CCR course is an advanced CCR program designed to push the limits of technical diving. This course represents the pinnacle of recreational open water diving and is for experienced divers only. It builds upon the knowledge and experience gained in prerequisite PADI courses and introduces meticulous planning and execution of dives at depths up to 100m (330ft) where diluent gas contains less than 18% oxygen. Ascent times become exponentially longer with extra minutes at depth, making care and attention to detail critical for safe exploration of the deepest depths.

The PADI Tec 100 CCR course allows for planning and conducting decompression dives with a maximum depth of 100 meters/330 feet using hypoxic trimix. There is also an 80m/260ft certification option available. The maximum planned loop PO2 (setpoint) cannot exceed 1.3 bar, and the maximum loop PO2 shall not exceed 1.4 bar except for depths of 6 m or less. The inspired PO2 of the open circuit bailout gas cannot exceed 1.6 bar, and the diluent supply gas must contain a minimum of 10% oxygen. The maximum END/EAD of the diluent must not exceed 30 meters/100 feet, and the diluent onboard gas must not have a PO2 higher than 1.1 bar at the maximum depth. Finally, there is a minimum requirement of using 4 stage cylinders.

PADI Tec 100 CCR Pre-Requisites

Be a minimum of 18 years old.

Be certified as a PADI Tec 60 CCR diver or equivalent.

Be certified as a Rescue Breathing/CPR/BLS Training and Oxygen Provider or equivalent.

Have logged a minimum of 100 hours using a CCR.

Have logged a minimum of 50 hours using the specific CCR being trained.

Have logged at least 30 dives deeper than 30m.

Have logged at least 10 dives deeper than 50m.

Have logged at least 20 dives that required staged decompression.

Submit a dive medical passed by a certified diving physician.
